GADGET is an interactive movie created by Haruhiko Shono, originally released in 1993 as multimedia CD-ROM for PC/Mac..which has received fabulous reputation. Its' mysterious story and steam punkish world, some compared as David Lynch or Franz Kafka, attained huge success worldwide.

Since then, GADGET has spread out for a great number of medias. An extraordinary world GADGET has created gathered big attention. GADGET –Past As Future-(Complete edition) is a renewed edition with rewritten scenarios and graphics, which has been released in Japan, U.S., France and Korea and has been sensationally accepted.

The creator HARUHIKO SHONO
HARUHIKO SHONO, began his creative career with the formation of “RADICAL TV-” in 1985. He constructed “ALICE-”, his first solo-work, in 1991 and with it won the Multimedia Grand Prix MITI Minister's Prize. He released “L-Zone” in 1992 which not only won the MITI Prize again, also remain on Japan's list of best-selling CD-ROMs for several years.
In 1993, Shono was again awarded the MITI Prize as well as the Multimedia Association Chairman's Prize for his game, “Gadget”. Newsweek named him one of “the most influential people to watch in cyberspace”.
After millennium, He has expanded his creative field; supervised the CG creation of PSP2 game soft “Kamaitachi no Yoru 2” ('02), movie “tCASSHERN”('04).
In recent years, He has been involved in Japanese entertainment unit “EXILE” the Promotion Video creation; “Choo Choo TRAIN/Galaxy Express 999” and “LIVE TOUR 2009 The Monster”.
